Vandalismo in stile canadese

clipped from note19.com I’m not sure where the tradition to throw your shoes over the power line has come from, but looks like sometimes people go too far. This morning on my bike ride to Hicks Road, I saw this site that made me stop. There must have been at least over a dozen pairs of shoes over this power line. When it rains, the weight of the shoes must bring the power line on the verge of breaking. clipped from note19.files.wordpress.com

Leggo su Note19 (blog di un informatico inglese trapiantato in Canada) che da quelle parti c'è una curiosa forma di vandalismo: attaccano insieme un paio di vecchie scarpe (legandone i lacci) e poi le tirano sui cavi elettrici. Fino a "spanderle" come nella foto.

Quando piove, il peso delle scarpe stressa terribilmente il cavo...
