Beagleboard: GPS and precise positioning

This is the RTK-GPS device, based on a Beagleboard B7 and open source RTK libraries, plus some hardware (a GPS receiver, an HSPA modem, etc).

Precise positioning is achieved by high-rate recalculation with extended Kalman filtering (on the Beagleboard) of GPS data and known GPS location by International GPS Service Stations observation data.

Precision goes down to an astounding 5.2cm for the 3D position of a satellite. This allows lots of applications (seismic wave observation, metereological data analisys, estimation of precipitable water vapor map, ionospheric disturbance...).
