The basic list below will give the details of what each is comprised of in general terms, more details are to come. wattOS - wattOS - Gnome based user interface with wattOS specific customizations wattOS - Milliwatt - XFCE based user inferface with wattOS specific customizations wattOS - Microwatt - Openbox - LXDE - and other lightweight components that make up the user interface and windowing. wattOS - Substation - server version - no gui - with webmin and console capability We are currently in beta, so all of these things are subject to change! But that is part of the fun :)

La WattOS è una distribuzione Linux basata su Ubuntu 9.04 che promette di girare con Gnome in 256Mb sfruttando il minimo indispensabile di CPU ed energia. Si contenta di soli 128Mb RAM se si usa un manager più "economico" quanto alla RAM (per esempio con LXDE, che occupa non più di 60-70Mb RAM totali mentre gira).

Dunque non la più bella o più veloce ma... quella che consuma meno elettricità.

Comincio a pensare che sia interessante per la Beagleboard...
