Se l'unità ottica è IDE, prova a creare un link da /dev/hdc a /dev/cdrom e incrocia le dita.
RispondiEliminaA me funziona benissimo sul Powerbook G4... fino a quando all'unità ottica non si è fuso il motorino (non riesce ad avviare i CD).
Per cui ho risolto comprando un adattatore da USB a IDE (nella confezione era compreso un alimentatore esterno), e ho recuperato un vecchio drive DVD-ROM da un PC scassato. Sta funzionando benone (sto continuando a campionare con ripperx i miei CD di musica classica).
